・枕が臭い ・シーツにシミ ・床やテーブルには虫が歩き回っている ・防音性ゼロで隣の部屋の声が丸聞こえ ・全体に古くて清潔でなく気持ち悪いのと、うるさくて殆ど寝れない

Goed voor 1 nacht als je op doorreis bent
Grote, maar gedateerde kamer. Receptie personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam echter kent slecht Engels spreken.
Geen vluchthaven shuttle aanwezig, in tegenstelling tot wat er op de website staat. Ontbijt was onder de maat. Wij kwamen om ca.08.30uur ontbijten en veel bakjes waren leeg en werden niet aangevuld. Verder wisten de dames op de receptie te vertellen dat het naar het vliegveld ca. 3 uur rijden was. Dus wij hebben onze reisschema hierop aangepast, echter de taxichauffeur wist ons te vertellen dat het max.1 5uur was met files.

Excellent stay, local culture and food
The breakfast was excellent, wide variety of Indonesian food available. We got to experiment and eat our fill every morning. Especially loved the bubur ayam and bubur ketam hicam We actually stayed here twice, with a two day break in between our stay. The hotel was kind enough to offer luggage storage for our bulky luggage, and surprised us with a room upgrade upon our second arrival!! The best surprise after a long journey. The staff were diligent, helpful, and always did their best to meet our needs. One person especially AARIE FAHAD. Thank you very much. The rooms were huge, comfortable, and offer reliable hot water at the scheduled times. Fridge and Kettle in all rooms. The hotel is a central location, only about a 15min to 20 min taxi ride to most tourist places in Central Jakarta, as well as markets like Pesar Tanah Abang. Small supermarket available 5 metres away from the hotel. Interesting local life and markets in the backroads/alleys just by walking behind the hotel, and plenty of streetfood closely available. Walking distance to UI Salemba campus. I would come back any time to this hotel if I come to Jakarta. Thank you Hotel Balairung team for taking excellent care of us.
